What is a fitted wedding ring?
A fitted wedding ring sits flush to your engagement ring. They're most commonly made to pair with low-set engagement rings, which hold the stone(s) close to the finger, meaning a straight wedding ring would not fit snugly beneath it.
Fitted wedding rings are a popular choice for those who do not want a gap between their engagement ring and wedding ring when stacked.
Our bespoke fitted service is best suited to engagement rings with an unusual or complex design, like uneven settings, sculptural bands, or anything with a silhouette that a standard curved ring wouldn't quite follow.
As part of our bespoke wedding ring service, we can create a custom-shaped wedding ring that perfectly hugs and contours to your engagement ring's exact silhouette, creating a unique, seamless look.
How it works
To create your bespoke, custom fitted wedding ring to fit your engagement ring, we use advanced 3D scanning and printing technology for a perfect match.
Step 1
Scanning
First, we 3D scan your engagement ring to get an accurate render of its shape. This is usually done during your wedding ring consultation. It takes around 5 minutes, and then we return your ring back to you, so you don't have to part with it for too long or during the designing and making process.
We can then 3D-print resin casts of your engagement ring to use later in the making process to check it fits just right as we go.
Step 2
Designing
Our talented team then design your wedding ring to exactly match your engagement ring, taking into consideration your metal, texture and stone preferences.
We may send you a digital 3D render of your ring, the resin render itself, or a video of how the rings will look when stacked.
Step 3
Making
Once you're happy with the design, we make your ring in your chosen metal in our London workshop.
We'll then post it to you, or you can collect it before your big day. A wonderfully matched wedding stack is now yours!

Your ring is made from start to finish in the UK, and we'll be on hand throughout the whole process for advice and friendly guidance.
FAQ
How much does a fitted wedding ring cost?
Prices start from £100 for moulding to Wild Fawn engagement rings, and £150–£200 for non-Wild Fawn rings.
This is in addition to your wedding ring cost, which will depend on the intricacy of the design and the amount of gold required. You can explore our wedding ring collection online to get an idea of pricing.
How long do you need my engagement ring when designing my fitted wedding ring?
Scanning your engagement ring only takes around 5-10 minutes, and we can do this during your wedding ring consultation with us.
The 3D-scanning process allows us to create a resin mould of your engagement ring, so we don't need to keep your ring for an extended period of time.
Should my wedding ring be the same material as my engagement ring?
We recommend choosing the same material for both your engagement ring and wedding ring. Many prefer this for aesthetic reasons, but this is especially important as golds with different carats have varying levels of hardness.
If your engagement ring is a higher carat than your wedding ring (or vice versa), it will eventually wear away the lower-carat ring, as it is made from a softer gold. For longevity, we recommend matching!
I have a high-set engagement ring with shaped band, can I use this service?
Yes! While this service is most commonly used for low-set engagement rings, a ring's profile isn't only defined by how high the stone sits.
If your engagement ring has a waved, curved, or otherwise shaped band, a standard straight wedding ring may still leave a gap. Our bespoke service can be shaped to follow the band's curve, creating a flush stack regardless of stone height.
Ready-to-wear curved wedding rings
If your engagement ring has a simpler profile, it will often stack just as beautifully with our ready-designed curved and shaped wedding rings, with no custom work needed.
If your engagement ring has a classic solitaire or simple claw setting, one of these will likely sit flush against it straight away.
