Our Bespoke Process

We want the bespoke jewellery process to be as transparent and easy to navigate as possible. Discover everything you need to know about our bespoke process at Wild Fawn. Whether you are designing a bespoke engagement ring or wedding ring, or reworking heirloom gold into something special, the process for any bespoke piece is simple and fuss-free. Step 1

Consultation

The first step in getting your bespoke jewellery made is to book a consultation with us. You can come into our cosy South-East London studio where you’ll see where your piece will be made, or we can have an online call if getting here isn’t easy.

During the consultation we’ll discuss any ideas you might have and we can offer some suggestions we think would work for your budget. Bring any stones or precious metal you already have if you'd like to incorporate it into your design.

Step 2

Design

If you'd like to go ahead, we'll start designing! Depending on the design work needed for your piece, we may request a non-refundable design deposit at this point. This will be deducted from the final cost of your bespoke piece.

Sketches, renders, and stone options may be shared with you during this stage too if applicable.

Step 3

Production

Once your design is finalised, we'll start production. Most bespoke pieces take 6-8 weeks, but this can be longer if your design is more complex or during peak season.

We'll keep you updated every step of the way and once made, you can collect it from our workshop, or we can post it directly to you using secure courier.

3D Scanning for Fitted Wedding Rings

By 3D-scanning your engagement ring during your consultation, we can create a custom-shaped wedding ring that perfectly contours to it's exact silhouette, creating a unique, seamless look.

Stone Sourcing

Our stones are ethically sourced and traceable. View our collection during your consultation, or we can source your dream stone. We can also use a gemstone you already own.

Our commitments

Ethical Metal

We make our jewellery with 100% recycled metals. We can make your piece in solid recycled 9ct or 18ct yellow, rose and white gold, or platinum. Or speak to us about repurposing gold you already have.

Jewellery remodelling

Engraving

Make your piece of bespoke jewellery even more sentimental with an engraved message. We can engrave the inside and the outside of rings, a necklace pendant, and more, depending on the design.
