What is argentium? Argentium has a slightly higher silver content (typically 93.5% or 96% compared to sterling silver (92.5%), and it is alloyed with geranium, which provides increased durability. The make-up of argentium also means it is more likely to be hypoallergenic and tarnish-resistant, which is not always the case with sterling silver for those with metal sensitivities.
