We work closely with you to design an engagement ring to include stone colours, metals and diamond shapes that your partner will love.

The Bespoke Engagement Ring Process

We'll discuss your ideas, potential designs, your budget, deadlines, and any additional information required to create your bespoke engagement ring.

Depending on the design, bespoke pieces normally take between 2 - 8 weeks to make but we can work to your timescale.

Stone Sourcing

All of our stones are ethically sourced and traceable. We have a beautiful collection at our studio that you can come and see and we can also source your dream stone if you have something specific in mind.

Ethical Metal

We make our engagement rings with recycled metals. We can make with 9ct or 18ct yellow, rose and white gold as well as platinum.

Engraving

Make your engagement ring even more sentimental with an engraved message. We can engrave on the inside and the outside of rings, depending on the design.

What makes an engagement ring ethical?

Many factors go into making any piece of jewellery eco-friendly, ethical or sustainable. Not only the metal and gemstone sourcing but the care taken for the people who make them.

The Bespoke Process

Step 1

The first step to getting your bespoke wedding or engagement ring made is to book a consultation with us. You can come into our studio where you’ll see where your ring will be made or we can have a zoom call if getting here isn’t easy. We work around you 100% of the time.

Step 2

At the consultation we’ll discuss any ideas you might have and we can offer some suggestions we think would work. If you want to incorporate any stones or precious metal you already have, bring it along if you are coming in to see us. We will also have a selection of one-of-a-kind rings at our studio that you can see or try on if it’s a joint design process.

Step 3

Within a week, we’ll create and send you up to 3 sketches based on the designs that you’d like to see, along with an estimated cost for each design. Once you’ve received the sketches, you can ask any questions about the design or make any changes. This is where its good to know the ring size you need or a rough idea (ask us if you want some tips on how to find out)

Step 4

Once you approve the sketched design and want to proceed we ask for a £400 non-refundable deposit that will be subtracted from the total.

If we have discussed the ring being made in 3D we will then provide up to 3 detailed 3D renders of the designs you love so you can see exactly how each ring looks from different angles and have a really clear idea of how it will look once we’ve made it. This is where we give you the exact cost for each design because it’s at this point we know how much gold we need to use to make your dream ring.

Step 5

You choose your favourite design and we’ll send you a payment link. After we’ve received payment, we start to make your ring which usually takes 4-6 weeks. We will keep you updated every step of the way and once made, we will send it to you in a beautiful handmade glass ring box or you can collect if you prefer.

Aftercare

This is where the exciting part happens, the proposal….We’re sure the ring will be PERFECT but if you need to make the ring bigger or smaller just get in touch as we offer one complementary resize. Rings look their best if they’re only resized to a maximum of 2.5 sizes so the proportions look correct (so putting the work in at the beginning to find a rough size pays off).
