Western India has undergone unprecedented, unregulated industrialisation, most evident in its numerous textile factories. Moving through the corridors and bowels of the enormous and disorientating structure of a textile factory in Gujarat, this doc takes you on a journey to a place of awful dehumanising physical labour and intense hardship, provoking the viewer to think about persistent pre-industrial working conditions and the huge divide between first World and developing countries.
